Hosting Blogs on Your Server

   Requirement: PHP, MySQL, Web Server;

   Installation:

   1. Download and extract

   2.   Create the database and a user with MySQL client: connect to the mysql server with your root account; CREATE DATABASE '‘blog'‘;GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON '‘blog''.* TO "username"@"hostname" IDENTIFIED BY "password"; 

   3. Modify wp-config-sample.php and save it as wp-config.php

   4. Move all the files to your web server:   e.g. /var/www/html/blog/

  6. Follow the web page to complete the configuration.

  7. Admin login page: wp-login.php
