Using Blogs in Instruction
A blog is a web site with entries posted in reverse chronological order, often there will be links to other sites.
Blogs are best used for journal type entries, commentaries, or news type items.
Types of instruction blogs:
- Class CMS or portal
- Instructor gives class updates
- Librarian creates subject resource
- Instructor reflects on class topics
- Instructor and students interact
- Students reflect on class topics
- Writing and content creation space
